Medulloblastoma Subtyping Panel

The Problem:

Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant paediatric brain tumour with a tendency to metastasize via cerebrospinal fluid pathways. Current treatments are limited to surgical resection, whole-brain radiation, and non-specific chemotherapy. It is now recognized that medulloblastoma represents four distinct subgroups with implications for prognosis and therapy beyond morphological classification,

Our Solution:

We offer a full prognostic panel to classify the subgroup, characterize the P53 status, and copy number state of a tumour. This information is critical in achieving a complete molecular diagnosis and can inform a treatment plan that will most benefit the patient.
