What’s your background?
I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I left this fine city to pursue a Masters degree and it was then that I discovered the beauty of our nation’s capital, Ottawa. I wouldn’t be upset if fate brought me and my family there again one day because it became a home away from home.
Why science?
I love it. Is there any better reason than that?
Do you have any advice for someone interested in a career in research?
I recommend a career in research only for those with a deep desire to know how and why biology (health & disease) is what it is.
What do you like to do for leisure?
I love spending time with my husband and my daughter doing anything or nothing at all. I also enjoy sports, gardening and music.
